Being in a conservation area, Paul dislikes diesel powered generators, so he opted for a solar system. Having had some experience with the traditional solar panel and battery storage setup, he was not convinced and looking for a better solution. Having prepared a power plan that allowed for his power demand at the time and some extra to allow for additional electrical equipment, Paul installed a system consisting of:

Paul confirms: “Since the installation last year, I have had no technical issues at all and could not be more happy with my investment. Several of my friends and associates have been impressed with the system which copes with all my electrical equipment including 5 refrigerators, washing machine, toaster, communications, television, kettle, normal household lighting and outside floodlights. The fact that the capacitors do not degrade over time is a huge financial and environmental advantage over battery systems.”
